Roommate fuckery has left an LJ'er with no heat and a $900 oil bill. This is life and death stuff this time of year. There's an ill teen involved and a cat and the person in need of help just got out of the hospital for a lung-related illness.

Thank you! It was up to $50 when I donated. Now it's up to $325. So I'm hoping the LJ magic will get it fixed today.

Np...people have helped me enough times that it seemed the right thing to do.

Hopefully, even if the full amount isn't reached, the utility company will take what *can* be paid and not shut it off. *usually* they're willing to work with people.
