Yesterday was far more exciting than I wanted it to be. Ever.
I am really really hoping I'll hear from Patty this weekend, but I don't know her schedule at the site.
I need to go to post office to pick up gluten-free goodies sent my a friend who just had her appendix out. For those of you up on that, have you heard a post-surgery update? I have not and am slightly worried.
Groceries are good too. Actually I should walk up to Costco and renew my membership.
I need to do a shit-ton of editing for work
I've got at least two novel-with-Kali related writing tasks today. One's a summary for what I'm calling our pre-readers. These are the folks cheerleading us through a first draft. We'll then be handing it over to them and a few others for critical reads after we have that.
I could possibly get the full Sherlock rewatch if I can stand it for that paper. We'll see how long it takes as I'll be making notes. And how annoyed I feel during episode 2.
At some point I need to respond to various emails about the various HP debacles yesterday, but that still feels like more energy or more of a type of energy than I have.
I'd also like to write something for LfT today, but I've no idea about what.
I am listening to The Queen of Argyll on repeat again. This is the song that makes me think of this Lorne/Wesley fic I swear I'm not writing. So maybe? Also, aside, deep love for this singing style, and I've always wished I could have had an opportunity to study it.
While it hasn't been necessary yet, and I don't actually plan to follow all of these actions, it's worth nothing I will be dealing with comments on LfT with a pretty heavy hand. Go off topic and talk amongst yourselves all you want -- I love that actually. But nastigrams will be dealt with with extreme prejudice. Here's one person's tips for dealing with trolls and bullies on blogs. I STRONGLY agree with not exposing yourself to crap you don't need to be exposed to.
ETA: OH MISS AMERICA IS TONIGHT. YAYCAKES. I will write about that for LfT.
You might like Coyote Run's version of Queen of Argyll. I think they may have it for download on their site: www.coyoterun.com
Silly Wizard is awesome. :)
Oh, and there's a shop that makes gluten-free pasta up the road from me, that does online orders. www.phillygf.com Check out their about us and certification pages - they're dead serious about keeping their food products completely gluten free.
