rmThe illness has spread out now -- which is to say, I still feel like shit, just less focused shit. Which isn't such a bad thing.
My house is full of people, which would be less daunting if I didn't feel this way.
Amanda leaves today.
And I'm debating if I really want to get into a debate about "real" opera with someone on The Well. Since I'm hardly anything resembling knowledgeable about the art form, it's probably a bad idea, but my point is that I saw something, that no, of course was not traditional opera, but brought me pleasure, probably in a very different way than traditional opera would -- it doesn't make it less _real_ -- it's just a different bloody animal. And I like lots of animals. (There's also the minor factoid that I don't think the person provoking the discussion has even seen the Boheme on Broadway -- so that's like ... *argh*! Never mind.)
