I think I'm going to go see Troy after the show tonight. I just looked on 777Film for showtimes and got hit with a Manchurian Candidate pop-up trailer -- god... even more creepy medical shit in it this time... I'm really thinking this is going to be like Minority Report for me where I had to hide my face in my hands for a good third of the film. Ugh. But, as an aside, if someone were to make a film out of Cyteen (which someone wouldn't, for a nearly endless series of reasons), Meryl Streep should really be Ari. At least that's what the Manchurian previews are telling me.

I'm really tired.

Have you taken any of the courses? While my focii are elsewhere now, it's one of the best things I've ever done, and may well do again.

Yes, I did a week long course in Wimberely (Fripp called it "Kimberely") Texas in 1991. One of the most challenging things i've ever done; certainly challenged all of my assumptions about guitar playing and "being in the world!" i would love to take another course one day...

i've been trying to re-connect with the morning sitting this week....
