(no subject)
Jul. 2nd, 2003 11:19 pmI know I haven't been posting much lately. A lot of it is the show, which is a) very very funny and b) emotionally taxing for me in a weird way, since my "kid character" shares my name, and has predictably involved a lot of stuff from my own childhood. So yeah, it's part of the show to have the other kid characters murmuring shit like "Does Rach have a rash?" and poking at me, but it's not always easy, especially because I like everyone in the cast, but allowing myself to trust that....
People seem enthused about the show (once again, NY'ers go to SmartTix.com and get your tickets) and my mom is even getting a bunch of her work colleagues to attend, which is sort of bizarre and really makes me feel like I'm in a third-grade play.
In other news, I am the anti-Hermione of late... in that I hear people talking erroneously about subjects I know a lot about, and I just don't bother to correct them. Generally. When I do, it's usually a bit spastic and over-enthused.
Finally, if people are going to enter my personal space, I prefer they do it with intent. Nebulously crowding or touching me achieves no aims, ends or resolutions.
