(no subject)
Jul. 4th, 2003 11:07 amWell it's the 4th of July. Which has never really been a big holiday for me, mostly I remember as a kid watching the fireworks on TV with my parents. In the last few years, I've managed to go to various events, usually through begging a bit, because I want cookout food and some outdoor fireworks. So as a friend of a friend I've trundled along to rooftop barbeques and other endeavors that while, not unwelcome at, I certainly had absolutely no point in being at, or so I felt.
This year, not so, which isn't to say I have any great plans at all. Working on my lines, filling out applications for trade show staffing agencies, working on some stuff for some auditions this week. A wander over to Criff Dogs for a hotdog in a bit, and 28 Days Later with my cast tonight. I am moderately filled with trepidation on the subject, because the play is strange, and really, for the most part, I feel like no one in the show really knows anything about each other -- which is neither here nor there. One of the exceptions, I think, is the stage manager and I, who have bonded over all sorts of geeky things that serve as shorthand for the various types of weird we each possess.
