Okay, off to work and then the big callback. Including a dance audition I'm more than a little freaked out by.

Fingers cross and all that would be lovely - this would be literally months of paying acting work, while allowing me to maintain the safety net of the current job(s). So yeah, then I'd have three jobs. Oi.

Also, you gotta admit a summer of posts about the wonders of working at a Renn Faire would entertain you all.

BTW, if you want to be on my announcement list (for shows and performances, not high traffic, not discussion):

Here's the scoop on the show I just got cast in:

I'll be appearing in TINY DYNAMITE which is being
presented by Dreamscape Theatre Company in May and June. It's three
character roles for me, including a completely over the top psychic,
a woman caught in the dating hell that is New York City and the
fun... the exciting... the one and only... Mystery Guest. At one
point I even get to wear an eye patch.

TINY DYNAMITE, btw, is being billed as "The feel-bad comedy of the
year" since it is a comedy, but it's also about a girl's suicide pact
with herself. Remember the aimless absurdity of that year right
after university? It was both funnier and more awful than you
remember, and TINY DYNAMITE is about a group of friends stuck in that
moment.

Performance dates and times are:

5/28 1 pm, 8 pm
6/2 8 pm
6/8 8 pm
6/16 8 pm
6/18 1 pm, 8 pm

The location:
Manhattan Theatre Source, 177 MacDougal Street, New York

Tickets are $15 and can be reserved by visiting
http://dreamscapetheatre.org, calling 212-577-2642 or e-mailing
tickets@dreamscapetheatre.org

But wait, there's more -- Dreamscape is doing a whole season of
shows -- the other two pieces are Machinal and Hamlet. I'm not in
them, but if you want to see a lot of great theater for cheap you can
order a season pass (it's $30 for a ticket to all three shows, $25
for a ticket to two). You can get all the details on the other shows
and their schedules at www.dreamscapetheatre.org

Student tickets are $10 per show or $20 for the season pass. These
cannot be reserved in advance however, you just have to go to the
door.

This is a _small_ theater, which means reservations are strongly
recommended.
