I'm feeling creatively stagnant, probably because I'm logistically innundated on The Slow End, and other than waiting to find out when my shoot dates are for Playing Doctor, don't have anything performance oriented on the horizon.

Yes, this is me neurotically worrying that I'm uncastable after like a day and a half. There was just such a delightful frenzy of momentum for a couple of weeks there. Argh, I'm being ridiculous (becase I can hear you all now going, "do you have any idea how busy you keep?").

Anyway, off to work.

Tonight I have to get lots of actorly stuff out the door for me, and finish giving everyone their timeslots for the auditions on Thursday. Maybe I'll get some actual professional writing done too since I think Kali is away this evening, and that means no HBP fanfic frenzy (this thing we're writing is amazing, I think we'll have the first chapter up by the end of next weekend).

I have another meeting at TSI on Monday, but after that I think everything is actually in motion.

Well shit. If it turns out this guy had nothing to do with the two London attack days and wasn't up to anything that day either and it's just all some big mistaken identity (increasingly likely, although it depends when you look at the constantly edited news stories on the web) thing in a place where the cops usually don't even have guns -- well that's going to change the dialogue in a really weird way.

This is not your mother's dystopian future.

Holy shit.

Creative stuff I've done this year thus far, listed as an attempt to get over being down about lame things (not getting a role I wanted that I was too young for and generally reacting to the utter derth of auditions this time of year). If nothing else this list proves I'm not really happy if I'm not working, particular in front of an audience/camera. I need to do a lot more film than I do.
