Songs from the Lost Forrest

I just remembered I have a scanner. This is the first of many Australia related things I'll be scanning in and posting. One of those random free postcards you find in bars here in NYC, this was found in the NIDA lobby. It's of a piece of stencil art by Joanne Wild, Songs for the Lost Forrest. http://www.lasting-impressions.com.au

I found it on my first day at NIDA, and the image haunted me, now and then, although I've never been entirely able to articulate why.
