Dec. 29th, 2006

I have emmerged from about 90% of my glutinous mood of death. Which means I should be fine in a few hours.

Meanwhile, so braindead from three straight days of fencing. It's like -- do it everyday and teh training benefit (other than the obvious) is your brain just can't consciously process anything anymore. Do it every other day and the training benefit is a bit of rest and the time to intellectualize. I suppose this is me being marginally grateful but slightly disappointed that modern life has other demands of me than just this.
Things you don't want to hear upon exiting your building and seeing people running towards a crowd of people:

"A pitbull just took a piece out of someone's arm."

The pitbull in question was white, but I don't know if it was the white and not that well governed pitbull from my building or the really aggro scary white pitbull that I don't see that often that lives, I think, in the basement under a hair salon.
If you're looking to put some of your last miniute charitable contributions for 2006 towards arts related causes, please consider the Interstitial Arts Foundation as it supports the sort of work that most people I know (including the lot of you) enjoy, and in many cases, produce.
