gluten-free sundries

Went to Starbucks for the gluten-free cake again. They were morons, didn't think they had it at first (it's in the display case), then tried to serve me an unwraped one from the display case, then got offended when I explained that wasn't correct and basically forced me to get stared at by a whole bunch of people who don't need to eat cripple food, when I explained THAT FOR MEDICAL REASONS, they were never supposed to serve this cake unwrapped and that's the official policy of Starbucks nationally. It sucked.

BUT THEN, I walked by Mozarelli's which is a place with gluten-free pizza and cake that I don't go to a lot as they use a lot of high-fiber flours that don't always agree with me, and they are now carrying a new massive line of gluten-free cooks called "My Dad's Cookies" and THEY ARE HEAVEN. Rasperberry linzer torte slices, french cream-filled pastries, chocolate-covered graham crackers. http://www.mydadscookies.com -- apparently online ordering will be possible soon.

Meanwhile is there anyone in NYC with an interest in going in on a British food order with me? The base shipping is high (like upwards of 20 pounds), but only goes up incrementally with amount of stuff ordered. We could get more bang for our buck if a few of us ordered things together. I'm ordering for gluten-free naan and various biscuits and such. But they have regular obscure Brit foods too.

I just got smacked so violently with a fanfic plot bunny it's RIDICULOUS.
