- Stuck in the middle of like a bazillion pieces of writing.

- Doing other work now.

- I really need to let myself actually be engaging the Patty countdown.

- We are having tech fail -- she's having problems with her laptop, ipod and Nook. I meanwhile can't find my fucking iPod.

- Twitpic was made of so much fail today.

- RSVP'd for a bridal shower we were invited to. Have I mentioned this? We got the invite, and it's a friend of Patty's I've only met once, and I literally was like "wait, why am I invited, this is for girls?" And then I was like "Oh, I'm just confused again." I've never actually been to a bridal shower. I hear there are terrifying games involved.

Tragic. I'll see you on the 6th though, as I'm being helpful at the thingy.

I think because Blurt (which is HILARIOUS) is too east to typo to Kurt's dad's name. That's the nice answer. The not nice answer is long and involves fandom stereotypes about tops and bottoms and what character they like better.

Personally, I really, really, hate the name elision thing in general (although I did have a fondness for the hilarity of Gwack for Gwen/Jack in Torchwood) so I keep trying not to keep saying Klaine, but I think I keep doing it anyway.

Oh good! I'll look forward to it since I now don't have to dash down to DC and back that day for work. I was going to be seriously peeved to miss said thing.

As for the rest... *sigh* There is a reason why your writing and recommendations direct 95% of my forays into online fandom.

I actually used to really hate Gwack because it didn't seem (as Janto did) to come from those who liked the pairing (whether, like me, it was as a multishipper, or the people who actually shipped Jack and Gwen exclusively), but more from the sectors of fandom that looked down on the pairing and disliked it, but I may have only seen it from those sectors of fandom. I just feel that a pairing smushname should come from the fans, not the detractors.
