in completely other fannish news

OMG, Doctor Who this weekend!

And Torchwood casting spoilers!

And, dude, am I the only person watching Game of Thrones who hasn't read it? Which makes it all weird, because my lens is not anyone's I know.

When does new Sherlock season happen? It like White Collar is the show that's really shiny for me in short bursts and then I forget about it completely.

She doesn't know THE book one spoiler, and the people watching it with her are trying to keep it that way.

You mean she's managed to avoid the fact that $FAKE_SPOILER happens and that $MAJOR_CHARACTER is actually the $UNINTENDED_REFERENCE to $MINOR_CHARACTER?

I'll have to make sure not to mention that.

(I also find myself wondering what you consider THE spoiler, because there's a lot of potential spoilers that you could be refering to, emotionally, plot-wise and otherwise. That's what happens in big books.)

I am trying to think of ways to tell you which spoiler I mean without it showing up in her inbox.

The one that you could find in the Wordy Gurdy game section of your newspaper?

I sent you mine via the private message function of LJ.

You mean the part where the crew of the Enterprise totally show up from a parallel dimension and Anya's direwolf bites Worf on the butt?

Yeah, it would suck if that got ruined for her.

(I'm 99% sure I know which spoiler you're talking about. And glad I read the book a couple years ago, and so can't be spoiled.)
