So that was cracktacular Glee, which I like best, The weirder the show is, the better it works.

It was also a VERY well-structured episode, and as much as I hated to miss the Kurt & co showdown at Dalton with "I Want Your Back" I think the cut made the episode tighter.

Kurt getting his NYADA letter was amazing.

I believed every moment of Kurt's worry and misery over Blaine and that felt a little raw and personal and close to home for me, and I loved it.

Say what you will about Darren Criss, but he brought it on "Wanna Be Startin' Something'"

"Smooth Criminal," even with Santana fronting afterwards was still terrifying.

Quinn's Yale plotline is ridiculous, but good for her. There's one story closed. Her speech to Rachel was great.

WOULD SOMEONE PLEASE BELIEVE ME NOW THAT RACHEL AND FINN ARE A TRAGEDY?

Blaine is a ridiculous human being and I have no idea how anyone, much less DC, of all people, can play anyone that earnest. But I guess I bought it or I wouldn't have been hiding behind my hands laughing so hard.

Artie going off on Schue. Yes please. And Kurt being all, "I agree with you but please stop, please, please stop talking about us, just let me worry."

I am pathetic predictable creature of the Internet, but give me all the fic ever about Blaine worrying about his surgery or Kurt worrying about Blaine while he's in surgery.

WHere was Tina after, like, the first scene?

"Ben" is a terrible song. Colfer sounds beautiful on it. Leah Michele got the creepy verse, and really, Finn, how about you not talking about Blaine getting shunned as if that's normal? God, so awkward. I really feel for someone like Blaine, because I think he wonders why he gets bullied so hard so often, he sees why someone like Kurt gets it, but he tries so hard to fit in and.... don't reinforce his sense of just being "wrong," please.

Kurt and the modesty-focused clothes again!

So next week's episode looks totally terrible, right?

Other than Ricky Martin playing...well..Ricky Martin, we agree that next week is filler.

Loved the final song. DW and I were guessing which song would be used for that. Man in the mirror would have worked as a song, but the CreepWarbler would not have 'gotten' it.

The look on Rachels face at the very end is perfect. And reinforces the tragedy that in Finn and Rachel.

100% believed. A tragedy and an object lesson in don't do this, this is even stupider than the Montgue boy and the Capulet girl were.

I am just so glad he got it. And that Burt came and brought it to him and there were hugs (I have missed them hugging). Want this episode so badly now.

so much agreed about the cutting of IWYB. The warblers did a great rendition but it made the episode tighter and likely allowed SCREAM to happen which...yes please!

Artie is seriously battling Jim Cantello for the title of King Klainer this year. He just is. I'm also going to need all the Blartie epic friendship fics where they both beleive they are strong black women and fight over who's going to sing the Diana Ross part in a song.

While I agree Finn and Rachel are TERRIBLE and this decision is so so so misguided and based on the wrong things...GOD I knew so many girls like that in high school. I think a third of my senior class was in an engagement just like this by the time graduation rolled around. It's a total disaster but I see sooo sooo clearly where it's coming from and its me so close to home. (Seriously my senior class religion teacher used to give almost daily versions of Quinn's speech when she heard about a student being engaged.) I'm choosing to beleive that Finn and Rachel's engagement will last about as long as the majority of the ones in my high school did....good only till about midsummer. (Only 1 actually married the guy. they already had a baby senior year and i'm told they are still married)

If I were more thoroughly invested in Glee rather than just fascinated by your commentary, and thus willing to put in the time to nail the voices, I would TOTALLY write the surgery-worrying -- antsy waiting-room worry appears to be a specialty of mine, and has showed up across more than one fandom. I know where it's coming from and I have enough distance now to put it in fic, at least. My propensity to write death-fixes tends to bring it in as a matter of course.

I hope someone DOES write it for you. Believe me, I get the appeal.
