Watched first disc of MI-5 season 1 last night. It's such a great show. And the reviews on Netflix are a riot, because everyone gives it five stars or one, mainly because the first episode is about American anti-abortion terrorists blowing stuff up in England. The show also has a running plot involving various US security agencies, and as such there's a constant commentary on the US in the program -- what's interesting is I'd say they get us about 70% to 80% right, and the part they get wrong is just fascinatingly bizarre. It weirds me out that this makes people angry -- I mean, do they think we're 100% right about our perceptions... of say... the French? Anyway, great program, and I also forget how scrumptious the lead actor is in a Clive Owen sort of way.

In other news... do I feel like I have no momentum this week about my acting career or what? I know... stupid week to be bitchy... it's short and following the RNC, I don't think there's life in the audition process again until next week. Also, it's not like I've not been using the time in terms of acquiring skills and sanity.

i know... is he dead? Aie!

The DVD's are great in that the episodes are full hours -- they edit them for commercials on TV here... so there's even more beautiful suffering.
