If you are on AOL, and use multiple email identities, they may combine into one thread on Gmail. Hence the person who sent me a message about their services, and a "fake" recommendation from another AOL screenname just got busted.

Busted! That's interesting to know.

I was amused. I am actually using this person's services anyway, but I'm debating whether to tell them what I know.

I don't get it. Is it spam or someone you know?

I posted to Craigslist looking for recommendations for getting my reel done.

I had several business owners contact me and one person refer me to one of those business owners. I selected said business owner base dont he quality of his product as shown at his website, then remembered after the fact that someone had recommended him as well, so I emailed her in thanks.

When she replied, it combined into the thread with the original business owner's communication to me, despite the different subject lines. Hence, busted.
