Could the moderator have sucked any more?

John Edwards, you are adorable, but your mouth kept getting ahead of your brain and "repeat stuff and smirk until Dick Cheney sheds his human skin, sprouts wings and drools blood" is not actually a valid debate strategy, no matter how much we may wish it.

Dick Cheney, for one brief shining moment I felt compassion for you. That said, your posture sucks and your creepy rubbing your hands together constantly thing makes me think that John Edwards' strategy was acutally right on.

Dear Larry King: Cheney's daughter is a lesbian, not a situation.

P.S. Could the moderator suck anymore?

I give the debate to Edwards, just for having a pulse and seeming good natured about the raw stupidity of it all.

I suspect this will be the last debate she will moderate.

I mean, come on -- she couldn't even remember if she gave Edwards his rebuttal or not. Not to mention, she fucked up enforcing the rules.

i wish I could have seen/heard more of it. What little I did see, Edwards still came across as 'trial lawyer'. I liked someone else's comment about Cheney looking ok until he went into his Darth Vader voice telling John he was his father...!
