Having recently successfully made candy for the first time, I'm increasingly fascinated by being able to do something that seems to bizarre to me. I'm considering making a batch of Rocky Road, which is probably more in the realm of "weird shit to make my friends try" than something I actually want; I had like one bite of the stuff in Australia and it nearly killed me. I'd have to order copha to do it, but that's cool, as I'm ordering lots of Aussie groceries soon anyway. It's sort of absurd though.

Also, I'm thinking of trying the coconut ice again with a couple of modifications.

No. It's a type of candy they eat there, that's sort of (but not really) like fudge with marsh,ellows in it covered in chocolate.

Oh god, they sell Rocky Road in Starbucks here and it's gorgeous! Sticky and sickly and just the smallest of mouthfuls is enough, but it's utterly fab ;O)
