(no subject)

So I'm sick.

I don't think it's going to get any worse than it is right now, but I'm stuffy, tired and slightly feverish.

I'm also vaguely alarmed. I rarely get sick, except I was sick two months ago as well. Now, obviously, this has to do with my schedule (that happened after extreme exertion as well), the amount of sleep I get, stress, my ability to eat well (but I do pretty well these days) and my exposure to germs right now, but I have to keep talking myself down about the whole thing.

Do you take B vitamins? They are the single best asset for people who run themselves into the ground, through activity of any kind. Your body blows through them under stress so any extra shot helps.

Not that you need to hear that now, but, future schemes and all.

I want to thank you, personally, for the trinkets you sent me. The lip balm sits right in front of my monitor and I use it often. If I don't use it, my lips suffer!

And the Egyptian urn/perfume dropper is wonderful. It sits on a shelf in my study, safely in the box it was sent in - like a cocoon. I treasure it.

I think I may have forgotten some things, but please know that I am very thankful for your support of me.

I agree on the vitamins, although C is also useful for the run-down. A packet of Emergen-C or equivalent per day, especially in sickness seasons, is a good thing.

The entire world has this cold, I think. I'm just emerging from the last bits of it myself.

Orange juice, vitamins, and as much rest as you can get...
