Stayed up watching the South Park movie last night, only because I wanted to hear La Resistance, which I've always thought was a riot, but was a little extra special for me right now for a number of reasons too assanine to go into. I had forgotten all sorts of things about the film, including that the little girl one of the kids is crushing on wears a pink outfit, includin beret. I kept waiting for someone to scream, "don't you know, Mimi was a fucking ho?"

Meanwhile, I've done something to my leg, and it is unhappy. I am also unhappy because I need to do a ton of errands today (post office and Kmart before going to rehearsal). Applying for a bunch of cool theater jobs today, and I've an audition tomorrow. I sent out a bunch of headshots over the weekend, but I still feel like I've been lax.

Made cupcakes last night, but every time I stare at them when I go downstairs, all I can think is "why are these here?"

Finally, my parents are going out of the city for a day and a half, an hour away to my uncles house -- why oh why are they giving me emergency contact data?

Re: South Park Movie.

I've tried to imagine explaining the war propaganda bit in that movie to the people who did WW2 war propaganda cartoons.

" So then Daffy duck hits Hitler over the head with a mallet, and in another one Bugs Bunny gives the Nazi party a big fat raspberry and then they all march and sing a song about buying war bonds. What did they do in your era? "

" Oh we have a cartoon where Saddam is in a homosexual relationship with Satan "

how coincidental...I picked up a copy of that movie (FINALLY!) and watched it last night as well..!
