I'm back, and with a pounding headache, so this report will be brief.

The event was really really good. And the dresses really really fit and we both looked fabulous.

I wound up making the toast to Lord nelson, which I loved doing in a way I don't have the energy to describe right now, but really wish I'd had a few days to be truly artful with.

This morning, Kali started rubbing her forehead againsdt my breast bone.

"Are you burrowing through me?" I asked.

"Yes," she said.

"Ow."

"It'll hurt more when I break the skin," she informed me, in this perky little voice.

Needless to say, that's turning into a chunk of randomness in the Severus/Narcissa Decensus backstory.

There will be pictures as many people took them. Now I'm going to buy some tylenol.

I conquered my home repair phobia re: the dishwasher only to discover the newly installed dishwasher was not, in fact, functional. New one has been ordered and we will not be paying someone else to install it.
