Yeah. Ayn Rand annoys me, but as with everyone, I went through my phase with it. The thing is, I've read that -- clearly I blocked it out.

And I know what you mean about Rand. I remember starting that book, but damned if I can remember if I finished it.

I wrote a bunch of book reports on her stuff in 7th grade, bot perhaps more importantly, remember the annoying kids from The Objectivist club at my university, and that the closest friend I've ever had a truly spectacularly ugly "breakup" with was someone who still truly admired Rand into her twenties. I mean, I should have seen that shit coming.

I admire elements of Rand's philosophy, but I think that anyone who agrees totally is, well, a little scary in bad ways.
