Roomie and I are watching The OC because someone she knows is on it. Not only is it really bad, it is incomprehensible in the same way that LA incomprehneible. There are a lot of good looking vacant boys in matching outfits (other than the one in the scuba suit) getting into fist fights and posing while superfluous women pretend it's about them.

Question

Is that LA or the show?

Both, in my experience. Although I should note my time in LA was fairly brief and extremely weird and involved staying in Beverly Hills and working on a commercial shoot.

The OC... Orange County. I was hoping that the posters I saw tacked all over the scaffolds around the client's office weren't referring to the land of my birth.

My arch nemesis returns to haunt me even as I fled all the way across the country to rid myself of its presence. Horrible. Just horrible.

Dude! we cackle every time we see the commercial. And who is the actor playing the lawyer who take him in?

I hate this show already. The fact that Newport Beach is one of my least favorite places has as much to do with it as anything else. The central kid is kind of cute though, he has this mini-Russell Crowe thing going on.
