Wouldn't you read absolutely any post with that title?

I am now a SAG member. It took a really long time. I keep wondering why my arm doesn't hurt (this is both a reflection on the number of documents I had to sign and an in-joke between Kali and I, you've all been repeatedly subjected to). After much cajolling, they did not require me to fill out a list of alternative professional names and just accepted that my name was unlikely to be in conflict with anyone. Which is good, because I was cooking up some serioues crap as that discussion went on.

Also joyous was reading over someone's shoulder on the subway a Wired article about Snakes on a Plane. Kat had first told me about this film, from the standpoint of her thinking that I too would do a movie just for the sheer awful genius of that name (Samuel Jackson claims the title is why he signed on, because either "you want to see that movie, or you don't"). So I exclaimed, to this random stranger "Snakes on a plane!" and then had to explain why I was shouting this at him. Best though is Cafe Press has a whole collection of random Snakes on a Plane merchandise made unofficially by other people who find it hillarious. I think I need to order myself a shirt.

Picked up new headshots and the scary scary new Reproductions office, had a surly customer rep, but she did hand me a green pen with which to sign the customer receipt.
