Just because really smart kids are frequently challening to teach and raise, does not mean every kid, whose parents think they are a handful and foster conditions that make them more of a handful, is a fucking genius. But then of course in America everyone wants their kid to be a genius, so why the hell not let them get away with all sorts of crap and then be all hippy dippy about it to prove that they unique and evolutionarily advanced. at least, that's what would have happened in my junior high.
