The completion of the root canal was _really_ bad. LIke, I just took _4_ advil. When is this shit gonna kick in?

On the plus side, the dentist's office carries The Advocate with the magazines, and that made me feel good, since I always feel a little extra cagey about being queer to anyone I don't know well who is going to PUT DRILLS IN MY MOUTH.

It's dulled down now, which is good. The last one I had, I had no pain after at all, so this is a bit of a surprise.

there's no way of predicting. i have had root canals that are literally non-events, and other ones that have been the most intense pain in my life. i think it has to do w/how much damage to the nerve they do when they're doing all that astounding scraping and pounding. ouchie!
