My own thought on the content of the above is merely this: Stories don't end. That they do, or exist in any way that is linear in time, is the most fundamenal part of their illusion.

Date: 2006-04-25 03:13 pm (UTC)Another one of my fave sayings re: fanfic, although I forget who said it: "Fanfiction is what happens when corporations own stories" which isn't the same point.
Strangely enough, that got cut out of an interview I gave re: fanfiction for one of the Matrix documentaries... Then again, a whole LOT got cut out of that interview. :(
