I think the Internet is flooded. Or at least something at Time Warner is. As my net connections ireally spotty and seems to be nameserver related.

At least it's not really hot out.

I need to write a ton of JB reviews. And I need to think of some more AC stuff. I mean I have a huge list of things, but I'm not feeling inspired by any of them, which is sort of entirely lame. I keep meaning to sit down and do some HP essays for AC, but it would involve plowing through a lot of very long books in a desperate attempt to untangle cannon and fannon in my head, and I'm not sure I'm inclined to take the time. What I need is so quick article ideas I can just bang out from what's in my head. I did get a really nice offer on my horseback riding in NYC piece though.

Anyway, I have to go to work.

A few months ago it was dropping the signal about every 15 minutes, and it took me 10 (!) calls to Time Warner, including at least 2 outsourcings to Bumblescum Egypt before they told me there was a service outage in my area and any attempts to schedule a service technician would be cancelled by their system. THey then gave me a website to go to next time my connection went down. Not an IP address, an actual website. That I was supposed to access without a connection.


That, needless to say, wound up in the Mock_the_Stupid community.
