In an utterly unproductive use of my time last night, i spent hours writing a six page article for Associated Content providing an overview of HP fanfiction. I still can't decide if it, or the fact that I wrote it, is funny or not. I tried to explain Corvus Fallere. This was perhaps ill-advised.

Off to that forgotten, forlorn day job now.

I'm so glad! Btw, as much as I was on some level disappointed by the end of the story because I'm a sucker for the happy/romantic ending, and I feel there was a lot of unresolved _something_ between Severus and Harry in it, it was exactly the ending the story needed and showed a certain understanding of BDSM stuff that I don't see that often in fic fannish or otherwise.

Not everybody likes the ending. Orginally, the escape was to have happened in book III, but I felt that most of book III was going to be... words for words sake. There MAY be a sequil, dealing with some of the unresolved .... stuff.

Again, thank you for including me in the article. Did AC pick it up?

They did... if you search for it, you should find it, as I've no idea of the URL offhand.

The possibility of a sequel is tantalizing. I had largely just assumed that these were things that would just never be resolvable for hte characters in light of the logistics of the world.
