I have no idea how I'm going to get more than 5 hours of sleep a night for the next several days.

Today I'll probably get home on the late side (although not bad like last night/this morning) and then will have to make food. A lot of food. Or else I'm fucked at Pride.

Then on Monday, I will probably have to be up at 6am to get to set (although that means I should manage to get done by like 7pm).

I could have gotten two more hours of sleep just now if this shit with my phone hadn't happened. And now I have to find a phone that will still let me use all my ringers (this is quirky, weird important to me as my ringers and I are largely about stuff, usually with a sense of really sick humour thrown in.)

And I need to get to a whole foods so I have food on the set on Monday, but I have no idea when that's going to happen. If. nte you are trying to eat healthy and have lots of food sensitivities (other than nuts, as these are chock full of them) try Larabar immediately. Especially the chocolate coconut or pecan pie flavours. Gluten-free, soy-free, addative free. Just fruits and nuts and sometimes chocolate. No added sugar or salt or anything.

Ooohhhh, force of will don't fail me now.

Meanwhile, moments like this, especially in the context of so classical an art as ballet, really, deeply move me, and largely make me think of how much we have lost living in a world so terribly good at underappreciating these things. http://www.nytimes.com/2006/06/24/arts/dance/24bocc.html

Finally, I just started These Old Shades which may be the best thing ever.

[livejournal.com profile] graene and [livejournal.com profile] fuyukodachi I owe you both email, which I'm currently in no logistical condition to write. You'll hear from me by Tuesday if not before.

Also, i did succumb and buy this: http://www.wearablesculpture.com/item.php?Id=1183 No explanation needed I trust.

and the form for the SAG/WGA Film Society thing is here. Assuming I get a slot in it, I'm going to enjoy all teh death matches between you all to come with me for the films. I'm totally psyched. It's one of the best thigns about being in SAG.

Oh! These Old Shades is my absolute favorite Heyer. And there's even a sequel--Devil's Cub, which isn't quite as good, but if you love the characters, it's a joy to see them again.
