The movie is not paced as well as the first one, although all the gags are paced marvellously.
It has a bit of that "and then this happened and this and this and this" vibe that the most recent HP movie did.
Lots of sexual inuendo, of course, but in truly odd places.

The characters are all rarely in teh same place which means a lot of the chemistry that made the first one both so good and so odd isn't there, although it seems clear that will resolve in the third one.
Who wants to write me Jack/Will/Norrington/Elizabeth? I'd do it, but I don't know where it owuld fit in terms of timing, but it's there! In fact Norrington is all sorts of interesting this time around.
And the dreadful East India Company man is just marvelous as cliched banal evil.
