I am REALLY sick of products that say Gluten-Free on the front and then contain maltodextrin. THIS IS WASTING MY MONEY AND MY TIME AND FUCKING WITH MY HEALTH.

If you're gluten-free doublecheck the ingredients list of Thai Kitchen products even if it says gluten-free on the front. Some aren't.

Sounds like a total cop-out! 'We aren't making any promises, but it's very likely it's got no gluten in it. If so, it's totally an accident and not at all our fault. We meant for it to have no gluten, seriously, we did!'

Also the FDA only requires warnings for certain allergans -- as is relevant to me, wheat. So a product can say allergans in it are Dairy and Soy, which means it has no _wheat_ but not necessarily no gluten. It's an utter clusterfuck.

Wow .. that's really fucked up. You would think as hysterical as they are about nut allergies they'd be more restrictive.

Well, nut allergies can kill people almost instantly. Gluten sensitivites are usuall of the chronic health problem sort.

True, true, but still pretty important when it comes to covering the bases as far as warnings and labels go, I would think.
