on the other hand

I know many of you have obsessions with bad poetry, bad romance novels and other forms of wildly inadequate and accidentally hillarious communication.

For those of you, there is this -- the freakiest, most bizarely reasoned and spelled one-star reviews of Harry Potter books; kooky screeds against witchcraft are just the beginning. Whether you care abut HP at all is utterly besides the point. This stuff wins, although I don't know what:

Do you like Harry Potter or something? It's just that you've mentioned the little git cherub every so often.

*winks*

Look, it's that or talk about celiac disease this week.

[identity profile] markdeniz.livejournal.com 2006-08-14 06:28 am (UTC)(link)
Hey, I think I'll go for the celiac (that is if you want to talk about it of course).

*grins*

I go through phases with my stuff. This too will pass. Resurface of course, but also pass. Trust me, you're happy you missed the month of bleeding intestines posts.

I'm not sure I agree as I'm a sucker for allsorts (just been checking out caterpillar infestations) but this means pain for you which is not good.

*gives sympathetic glance*

You know, I'm sure that somewhere there's some guy who'd pay big bucks to have you talk about your celiac disease, possibly while you dump sacks of rye flour on his head.

Gee, I had no idea "bloody" and ... I can't think of anything else. "Arse," maybe? Are on a level with, say, "motherfucking cuntface."

Dirty limey curse words!!~~~~!

I also forgot to say that I love this icon, it's a really great shot!

Thank you!

Snakes on a... book?

Loved the one that states that the HP books suck because they are anti-snake, portraying snakes as universally evil while not showing proper respect. I found that pov to be much more entertaining than the more expected, "don't read these books cuz they will turn you (or your kids) into witches."

Books are dull! Go see the film! Films are faster and louder!

Never underestimate the (comedy of the)stupidity of the populace. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Tolstoy with a ouji board, flying broom, and a wart on her nose, but lacking the gift of literature.

So... basically not Tolstoy at all, then?

[identity profile] rm.livejournal.com 2006-08-14 01:58 pm (UTC)(link)
I did see that one and think of you.

[identity profile] sykii.livejournal.com 2006-08-14 01:59 pm (UTC)(link)
Why thank you. It does rather describe me to a T.

[identity profile] rm.livejournal.com 2006-08-14 02:00 pm (UTC)(link)
Lol! You know what I meant. I knew it was the one that would make you go "what the fuck?"

[identity profile] sykii.livejournal.com 2006-08-14 02:07 pm (UTC)(link)
Quite so.

Anyway, during the book, you encounter words like lumnos or somthing like that, which means to make the wand light up. Because of that, tons of kids are gonna buy toy wands and try to copy that. That is considered witch craft.

That is considered Latin. Well, sort of. But still!
Idiots.
