On the phone with someone just now who meant to say "My dear friend" and said instead "My dog friend."

So it was time for a new icon.

Meanwhile, I'm chugging along. Tried an Amy's gluten-free pizza tonight. It was the best of the lot, but I think pizza and I have permanently parted ways. Do you know, when I watch TV commecials that are all about some bread product or other ("wrapped in a delicious flour tortilla wrap!") I actually feel a little frisson of fear, because I never ever ever want to feel like I did ever again, and it's so easy to forget -- I have nightmares about that -- forgetting and eating a brownie. Celiac is just sucky stupid.

I get that way with milk products. That Ben & Jerry's milkshake giveaway thing in Union Square just gives me the creeps.
