There is either a cricket right outside my window or IN MY ROOM! While this is horrifying beyond horrifying, it's really the only thing I have to complain about right now.

I'm waiting on a ton of freelance $$, some of which should show tomorrow, the rest of which I pretty much expect by Monday.

Vincent FINALLY got kicked off PR, and it was hysterical watching Tim try to look like he was upset about it. Also, Malan now has a blog on the site!

I really don't get how Jeffrey won this last challenge. I mean, the only thing he really had going for him was that his model seemed to like the dress. But who knows, I mean, it's a competition for them too so many she was just trying to stay in the competition.

I don't agree with anything they said about Kayne's dress. I don't care if it was "tacky", I thought it was gorgeous. Uli's too.

And I actually cheered when they said Vincent was out!

I'm with you! I was a little disappointed in Uli; it was basically the same bodice/dress she made last week and she was told they were tired of seeing the same dress, yet she did it again.

I loved Kayne's dress; the bodice was amazing.

I thought it was waaaay too derivitive of Vivienne Westwood and I didn't get why no one saw it.

I liked Kayne's dress too, although teh asymetrical lacing in the back looked messy when the dress was refit and I thought was one detail too many, although wise to teh situation -- at least some sort of lacing.

I was reading Tim's blog about it today and I think the cameras just didn't pick it up well. He was saying that the boning was black and was showing through the bodice of the dress. I could see that being a huge problem even though I loved the way the skirt flowed.

I agree with [livejournal.com profile] fleur about Uli's dress. It is much of the same, but this time it really seemed to work. I think that it must be difficult to put a designer's "stamp" on an outfit week after week without it coming off as overdone. Speaking of overdone, I just hate all of Laura's collars and necklines. Grrrrrr....though even I will admit that the collar looked better in Paris than in NYC.

I didn't get Jeffrey's dress at all. I saw it and thought Ooooh, he mixed and matched tablecloths! but then, wtf do I know about fashion???

You can see the boning in teh photos, it's only some of it, it's two assymetrical black stripes on teh bottom of the bodice. I really liked that.
