Studio 60, which I didn't think i'd like, is astoundingly good. I only caught 40 minutes of the first episode and I a) want more b) really hope fannish types watched it with the same bunny eyes I did and will write the stuff I'm not gonna, because it's not a universe I know how to play with.

Oddly enough, I had the opposite reaction. I expected to adore it, because of its writer and cast, but I just liked it. I think that I will like it more, as time goes on, but I was not as overwhelmingly happy as I expected to be with a new Sorkin show.

I agree .. I expect to like it more as time goes on. I thought the pilot was rather contrived in how they got them to go back to work for the show, and that was disappointing.

remember WW's pilot had Leo calling into newspapers to complain about crossword puzzle clues. Pilots rarely get it 100% right on the First try.
