Regency ball prep

I still need to:

- acquire and clock stockings
- address the matter of undergarments
- dry clean my purple cloak
- find (and dry clean) the shawls for the ball gowns so we can pretend they're day dresses
- finish finishing Kali's dress (scheduled for Monday)
- assemble hair stuff (including finding ribbons for mine)
- assemble jewelry stuff
- plan/pack gluten-free stuff
- clean/pack poker set (not for poker, mind you)

I _think_ that's all of it. If start eyeing this list now, it's more likely to all get done.

Any chance of wearing a lace or white blouse under the ball dresses to fake daytime sleeves and/or cleavage cover? Just in case the shawls fail to be found.

Let me know how you solve the stocking-clocks problem; I've looked also but not found any proper ones. I've been contemplating horrible things involving rubber stamps and stockings.

I've actually found iron designs that are perfect, so what I'm going to do is pin them to the stockings and embroider over them.

That's a good idea with the blouses and _might_ work.
