I've been meaning to drop a comment your way. I just read Shopgirl by Steve Martin. For some reason, when I read it, I thought immediately of you. Not the characters, but the way the novella is written. It reads as if you could have written it. I didn't know you had read it or not.

And not totally off topic, you and your mate do look stunning.

I have read it. I'm a big fan of Steve martin in terms of the range of stuff he does (and that most people seem to forget about).
