rmToday I had to explain to someone who is a big David Bowie fan his career in the 70s and 80s. They had never heard of Ziggy Stardust or the Thin White Duke or any of it. Which I suppose just goes to show how good he is that this reinventing the self or something. It came up re: The Prestige and why casting him as Tesla is so cool.
I, meanwhile, am listening to My Chemical Romance which is entirely one of those bands that both isn't very good and that I'm way too old to be listening too, but they know what they're doing even in their mediocrity. Also, great band name.
I also had to explain the electoral college, AGAIN.
