I'm a lot more sore than i was after Monday's class. This is probably good.

Spoke to my mom yesterday she was giving the usual momly advice about sore muscles and of course my dad was all "What's wrong with her?" and alarmed. She also asked me what I want for Christmas, which she does every year and is one of those things that drives me a little nuts as I hate answering things like that. I do finally have all the warm coats and boots I need, so there aren't really any pratical things I can ask her for. And stuff that supports my (pre)occupations is generally ill-advised. Ah well, she's on her own.

Tonight I have to work on my stuff for Paintbrush & Quill for Phoenix Rising and Descensus and the usual collection of Swordspoint thingies. coyotegoth, I noticed you joined _riverside, does that mean you finally read it?

Yeah, I feel that way too eventhough we've always spent a LOT of money on the holidays at my house. That said, an iPod is totally one of those thigns I do want that I'd never buy for myself. and something I _can_ ask for, as I'd rather buy my own weapons, know they'd freak about fencing stuff (you need that much protection?!?!?) and really can't ask them for tattoo money ;)

I have enough people to buy for that I can't spend a ton on everyone, which might explain why I feel creepy asking them to fork out for me.

I'm really weird about gifts anyway .. it sounds princessy but if you are going to give me something I don't like or want, I'd really rather you didn't. Go spend money on yourself or just give me a gift card, seriously. Plus some things you just need to pick out yourself (weapons, costume pieces, instruments) and you truly do not want someone else involved in.
