Nov. 26th, 2006 12:58 amToday sucked exactly as much as I thought it would, but not actually anymore than that, which is good enough for me.
Meanwhile,
ellen_kushner is doing a reading with the chick who wrote those dragons in the Napoleanic Wars books (i know! I know, it's on my reading list) at the Seaport a week Tuesday. To say I'm giddy somewhat understates the case, but let's pretend I have some dignity, shall we?
Speaking of dignity. I have dignity like a cat... which means I seem all fucking together and mysterious and cool, until I trip on something, slam into a wall or become mesmerized by something utterly embarassing. Hey, at least I don't use puke as a weapon. Cats are awesome. Even if they are trying to steal the gluten-free dinosaur shaped chicken nuggets for their own.

Date: 2006-11-26 04:13 pm (UTC)Not just to the reading, but to the fact that Peter Jackson is going to make the films and so _maybe_ they'll do the books justice. I must go to this. I must find my calendar and write down that I need to go to this. I must unpack my car so I can find my calendar and write down that I need to go to this. EEE!!!!
