Zen. I haven't had enough sleep, I'm PMSing and my knee really does hurt.

But at least I'm gettimg paid tomorrow, and there are some books and fencing crap to get and why did no one ever tell me that men's clothes in the Elegant Gothic Lolita scene are pretty much: a) entirely my style, b) weirdly not that expenisve and finally, c) fit me?

Paper marbling class Saturday (unless I'm working on a Kraft commercial) and Regency Dance class Sunday (which shouldn't aggravate my knee at all, that only aggravates my shins).

December is a grind. But I am chugging a long.

I know I owe a bunch of you email, mostly about socializing or other logistical matters. I will try to get to it all over the next couple of days.

[livejournal.com profile] ellen_kushner thinks it would be ever so very cool if there was a Swordspoint relevant BPAL scent (or scents). Would any of my fellow fans of both (hi [livejournal.com profile] tsarina) want to mention this in the suggestion forum to see if it goes anywhere? Thread here: http://ellen-kushner.livejournal.com/75217.html?thread=823505#t823505

Also in stuff authors say on LJ, [livejournal.com profile] shalanna points to this briliant quote from [livejournal.com profile] matociquala: "The difference between war stories and fairy tales is that fairy tales start "Once upon a time..." and war stories start "No shit, there I was..."

Also, Descensus now has 50 readers, so look for a special announcement from [livejournal.com profile] kalichan and myself soon.

I submitted for that commercial too. Commercial background pay is _happy_. Also, where are you finding EGL clothing? I'm sure I won't find any that fits but I adore the aesthetic.

There's a site I found last night with this fabulous men's coat, but I've lost it now. I'll have to dig for it tonight when I get home.

This . I have a bit of an Alice fixation. Although I will also probably buy a Happy Shirt to go with it, since I am constantly looking for them.

Elegant Gothic Aristocrat, three words my budget very much did not need. Words cannot express how much I love EGA clothing, thank you.

I think so, yes. Most of those they will make to costume size too. There's one floor length skirt that I'm just swoonign over, and of course all teh coats (the redpirate caot with the three rows of butons). I really like one of the short dresses too, but I'm not sure I can get away with that kawaii thing.

There's a coat that's killing me with desire, a long victorian skirt and top that I desperately want, and a lot of stuff that I adore, but don't feel overwhelmed with lust over. But yes, I would be quite happy with ALL the coats. I stuck 6 things in "watch this item" for me to drool over.

Dear gods, that site is like a baited trap - the clothes are affordable but far from cheap. Definitely going on my holiday list - I regret the fact that I lack exceedingly wealthy friends...

Hello, RM--
I'd like to get in touch with you WRT some personal news about our mutual friend (he's fine). Going through LJ was the only way I could think to reach you. Would you please e-mail me at yphemera@yahoo.com so we can chat privately?
Thanks very much,
