today's plans

I'm buying a planner today, on paper. Because god bless the digital organizer, but a it doesn't lay things out in front of me, it doesn't provide a way for me to meaningfully scan over my week, and it's just not working for auditions and appointments and the like.
Meanwhile, I've applied for an excellent, paying stage management job, that if I got it, would solve a lot of problems (I'd be employed for the forseeable future, and would have time to go to the major adutions and take classes during the day). _Please_ think good thoughts, as the timing wouldn't hurt either.
I'm seeing Young Adam tonight at the film festival, something I am approaching with significantly, but not entirely, less dread than Dogville. However there's a sex scene apparently involving ketchup that will worry me if it doesn't squick me. Heh. Weird year for films, yeah.
Meanwhile, it seems unlikely I will be able to do the 14-hour LotR marathon everyone else I know will be doing, because I'll be in transit from the wedding. Luckily, they'll be doing it again at LIncoln Center in January with the director and actors present, so I may just save up and go to that.
I am also reminded yet again, that I really need to go see Lost in Translation.
I also have an audition today, that I suspect will be ... scattered.
Have to go see my mom now.
rm: maybe I will smuggle something in

rm: oh yeah, I've been following that
rm: it makes me hard in a bad marketing genius sort of way
k: first i've seen of it
k: yeah
k: crap
k: well, i think we have a new way you will know when you've truly made it
k: when the teen bible designates a day to pray for your soul
k: like kelly osborne and anna nicole smith
rm: you are so right
k: by which i can only assume you mean very, very wrong
