A business, even a business whose product involves a "community," is not only not a democracy, but has absolutely no obligation to be whatsoever.

I am so unbelieveably sick of saying this. I've been beating the same drum since the days of the BBS-that-must-not-be-named, and yet not one can get it. I am now a source of evil on Gather, because I get paid to write.

On the subject of people expecting any shade of creative professional to do their thing for free and for the fickle pleasure of others more often than they already do, I lack a sufficiently sarcastic response.

I mean goodness gracious, its not like you have rent to take care of or anything.
