A lot of peopel didn't like the design of it and are saying it looks like a cheap video game.
There's teh too gay vs. not gay enough thing.
Thee's the "this glorifies war and is therfore evil" thing
there's the "which side is the U.S." drama
There's the "it's not historically accurate" drama
There's the "they changed stuff frm the GN" drama

And that's jsut for starts. I suppose a movie about Thermopylae is doing its job if it gets people's blood up. But whoa.

I just came back from seeing 300. And while I can see the point in having the "this movie is ideologically fucked," debate, personally I come down on the side of, "Eee! Shiny!" In terms of historical accuracy--psh. In terms of aesthetic, see: shiny.
