I was thinking about you this morning. Jordan went out early to deliver his papers and found an envelope addressed to him on the porch. It was an invitation to a Harry Potter-themed birthday party for his friend. But this was no garish invitation from the party supply store. It was the same letter Harry got telling him he had been accepted into Hogwarts, a ticket to the Hogwarts Express and another note with the party details - all on parchment and sealed with sealing wax.
Anyway, to a 10 year old boy who lives for fictional worlds, this was a wonderful thing. He had tears in his eyes and, hours later, is still grinning. We're going tomorrow to get fabric for school robes and Tuesday, I'll start knitting him a house scarf.
Anyway.. I'm going to try to scan it all later (provided my scanner isn't dead). :)
