Meanwhile, I'm working on a new cranky gay piece: "It's Not About You" addressing two of my favourite anti-gay notions - that queer folks are stealing by not being sexually available to members of the opposite sex and that queer folks are clearly going to attack heterosexuals of their same gender. Oi.

Ok, I've run into the Fear Of A Gay Locker Room before but the idea that nookie is being kept out of play by being gay? Excuse me while I try to get my head around that one. Its not working but I'm trying.

While I'm at it, I'll try to figure out why people's response to a series of statistics is to discredit it based on their personal experience. Yes sir, we acknowledge that maybe your workplace was 90% female and you felt discriminated against. Perhaps we'll all be a little bit happier if you would just admit that you're on the low end of the bell curve in more ways than one.
