Please, decent plots, decent voices and an interest in the culture of the universe which means the trapped on a ship together factor, the moral codes of the larger society, the class differences between the characters etc.

Yeah. I'm not even sure why it speaks to me yet, although part of it is clearly that the actors are having more fun than they have ever had ever.
