Publisher wants to know what magazines appeal to the media nerd demographic for potential advertising. This isn't something I actually have any knowledge of. Ideas?

maybe not as expensive but still as mainstream:

almost all the media nerds i know read the economist. i know it's not related, but it's categorically true.
