This is perhaps my silliest reason to like Obama, but the word "ebullient" is used in a headline on his web page. That's the sort of word people complain about in my writing as being too hard. I like a campaign that enjoys language and doesn't think we're idiots.

After listening (and cringing) to 8 years of Bush-isms, I'm heartened to know that our next President can actually use three-syllable words correctly. :c)
